I’m Tom Tolbert and I’ve been “chasing the light” since 2017. My journey into photography happened by accident. I was looking for a way to showcase another passion of mine and I grabbed a camera to take a picture for it. One thing led to another and there I stood, holding a camera figuring out how to take the photos I needed. I’ve been hooked ever since.
I drag my camera and tripod everywhere I go. Sometimes, it’s up a mountainside. Other times, I’m crouching in an impromptu blind sneaking shots of wildlife. I’m always looking for that next shot and constantly stretching the limits of what I know. The greatest satisfaction I get is when someone gets lost in one of my pictures because it draws them into the moment.
Maybe one day, we’ll cross paths out on the trail, but until then, I hope you enjoy my photos as much I have taking them.
